Inline & Fibertec

I could do with some advice on Inline and Fibertec windows. I am in the process of adding a sunroom addition and spent a lot of time going through the window quotes, my favorites are the Fibertec and Inline choices. So far the prices are much the same between the two and I’ve found they are similar when it comes to their performance numbers. The quote I have is for the Fibertec 500 series, which I believe is a premium window. All seven double hung windows and the picture window I will be installing are triple paned. The numbers when it comes to AI seems to be different, I think Fibertec are actually better on this.

If I go with the Inline windows I will be purchasing from a retailer where the Fibertec will be direct from the manufacturer. My only question with this is whether I am better off buying from a local retailer or a manufacturer. Because the numbers and prices are so similar, I am absolutely torn on which to choose. I’ve read the reviews on both and noticed Fibertec have good and bad reviews, so I am really not sure which to go with. Brady – Consumer – from 2012

Inline vs. Serious

What I have found is that Serious and Inline are almost identical. The frames are so similar and I believe that Serious actually get the pultrusions directly from Inline. Another thing is that Serious don’t offer the tilt and turn window that is offered by Inline. The IGU offered by Serious is a little confusing and I think if you removed the film you would be left with an Inline window, so paying extra for that wouldn’t be worth it.

Love the Tilt and Turn Option

I am so impressed with the Inline windows tilt and turn windows. They have just come onto the market here in northern America and I think they are going to do very well. They are such appealing windows, easy to use and opening in different directions. They are easy to clean, improves ventilation and have so many good benefits. I just completed a home renovation where we used the Integrity Wood Ultrex windows, but had I known about the Inline windows sooner, I think I would have used these instead.
