Seaway Windows Reviews

We have had 15 Seaway Encore windows installed (piecemeal, so 4 have been in for just over 4 years), split between casements and double hungs. I am extremely happy with the windows – they are very nice looking and work very well. We went with lots of options including low-e glass with argon fills. There have been no air leaks and they really helped to cut down the outside noise and keeping our house warmer in the cold Michigan months.

I have also been impressed with their customer service. Before ordering the replacements, I contacted Seaway with several questions and they were quite helpful. They sent me several samples of the frame color so that I could check how they would look against the interior and exterior walls. Also, I initially had an issues with the casement handles and so I asked them whether they had any options and they ended up sending me some fold up handles for free. They were very pleasant to deal with.

Ovation Model Series

I purchased the Seaway Ovation line and really like these tilt in vinyl frames. Bought 14 double hungs and 2 basement hopper windows, 4 with grills and all with full screens – spend about $9K, which included all the windows and the installation. The install went smoothly, no issues to speak of, and they got everything in in 2 full days. I am a happy customer and glad with my decision (which is always nerve racking because you sort of only get one shot at it – unless you’re rich).

Seaway Windows Reviews

We researched Seaway and were impressed when we visited their showroom during 2009 – very modern and really showcases the features of their windows. Our place is an older Victorian home in Michigan that needed 30 sizable double hung replacements. The company has been making windows since 1959 and has a good reputation in the area.

The company took the time to insure us that their installers take great pains to get as very good fit and finish. All of their installers work for them and only install their products, which set our minds at ease. The company also has great references they supply you win in case you want to check with past customers.
