Win-Dor Systems is a California based company that specializes in custom windows and doors throughout much of Southern California. Win Dor has been making window and doors since 1994 and sells through local companies in many of the western states – nothing east of Colorado.
Win Dor Windows Reviews
Win-Dor manufactures and sells the following window series: the WinShield (more on this below), 2750 (fold window), 1750 (casement window), 1550 (picture window), 1550 (single hung), and the 1550 (horizontal slider). In terms of doors series, the company sells the following: the 2750 (sliding patio door), 3750 (sliding patio door), 3750 (swing door), 3750 (fold door), 2750 (multi-slide door), and the 3750 (multi-slide door).
The WinShield series is the newest company option: an all black frame (very popular option in SoCal) that comes as a hung and casement window, as well as in several door styles and configurations.
Win Dor Warranty
I’m not a big fan of warranties that are written in type so small you can’t read it. That’s more of less what the win dor warranty is – lots of exclusions and caveats. The warranty specifics are really going to depend on the product you buy – for instance the folding doors have a number of exclusions.

I give their window and doors a 7.5 out of 10. I give the company a 8.0 out of 10. I give their warranty a 5 out of 10 🙂

Brian, I like Win Dor Windows and the WinShield series. It strikes me as a well made vinyl window and I love the look of it. There are some downsides to a black window – it pulls in more heat, which can reduce the lifecycle of the window. But I get why you would want to
